Extended School Services

The ESS program provides quality childcare in a fun and safe environment.

Our goal is to be accessible for Sacred Heart families and to foster a sense of partnership and community between students, staff, and parents.

Quick Facts

  • Morning ESS begins at 7:00 a.m. – drop off is at the north doors around back
  • Afternoon ESS goes until 6:00 p.m. – pick up is in the library
  • Fees are $7/hour with a cap of $245/month per student
  • No weekly/monthly commitments or advance sign-ups required
  • Staff members will walk students to the field or gym for CYO sports practices

Typical Daily Activities

Students sign in at dismissal and are served an afternoon snack and given time for free play in the gym. We open the library for homework and quiet activities and the upper lot and big toy for outside play. We have a wide variety of games, craft supplies, and athletic equipment available to students as well as the use of library computers. Movies are shown on Friday afternoons.
