Standardized Testing

Students in 3rd through 8th grade take a standardized test each year.   In the fall f 2011,  students will be taking the Iowa Test of Basic Skills, which measures student learning, and students in grades 3, 5, 7, and 8 will also take the CogAT test, which measure student learning style and aptitude. Together, these tests provide the school and parents with important information that is used to evaluate instruction, curriculum, and individual student progress. Students will be testing on different schedules for each grade.
