Faith Formation

Sacred Heart School is a ministry of Sacred Heart Church. Its curriculum is permeated with our Catholic faith and designed to meet the archdiocesan Student Learning Expectations and Benchmarks. Students at Sacred Heart School have regular religious instruction and participate in the sacramental life of the church through frequent school Masses, participation in the sacrament of reconciliation, and the celebration of holy days and other liturgical events throughout the year (e.g., All Saints Day saint parade, Our Lady of Guadalupe celebration, St. Nicholas Shoe Liturgy, May Crowning).  The school begins each day with prayer, led by the student council over the public address system. Our students then pray throughout the day, including before lunch and the end of the day.
