Narnia – Week One information

Hello, Narnia families!

Welcome to the start of what we hope will be a fun, educational rehearsal process. You’ll receive a weekly email from Playmakers every Sunday with reminders and other important information. This email will be sent to the preferred email address on your student’s audition packet, as well as to the school emails of all middle school cast members. If you’d like to change your email or add an additional email address, please reply back to playmakers@sacredheart.org so we can update your information.

Mandatory parent meeting is tomorrow!

Please remember that as per the handbook, our mandatory parent meeting is on Monday, January 7th from 5:15 – 5:30pm in the Moore. We will be going over a lot of important information, so it’s vital every family attends. If you cannot be there personally, you’re welcome to send a representative (e.g. sitter or nanny, another parent who will be responsible for passing along information). Students are not required to attend, as we will be going over their expectations during rehearsal.

Schedule

Here is the schedule for the first two weeks of rehearsal. As our music director is on an extended trip to Australia, we are still finalizing the rest of the rehearsal schedule and plan to include it on next Sunday’s update. Students needed will always be listed by character. Your student’s character may be listed for a day you’ve given us a conflict; your student is not expected to attend as their conflict is excused, but must check in with one of our stage managers to find out what they missed.

Early Departures

Many students are leaving early from rehearsal for various reasons. Please be sure to sign your student out with the parent who has the clipboard (or remind your middle school student to sign themselves out).

Volunteer Jobs

Be sure to sign up for your mandatory rehearsal volunteer job. We appreciate your help in keeping Playmakers running smoothly! All families are required to sign up for one rehearsal job, and are welcome to sign up for more. We’ll go over what this job entails during tomorrow’s meeting.

Junior Players

If you are hoping to register your second or third grader for Junior Players, the lottery opens at 9:00am on Monday, January 7th. Please visit the Playmakers website for more information.
