Dear Parents:

Ready for the adventure of a lifetime? At Sky, kids discover that everything is possible with God! Sky is filled with incredible Bible-learning experiences kids see, hear, touch, and even taste! Sciency-Fun Gizmos, team-building games, cool Bible songs, and tasty treats are just a few of the Sky activities that help faith flow into real life. (Since everything is hands-on, kids might get a little messy. Be sure to send them in play clothes and safe shoes.) Plus, we’ll help kids discover how to see evidence of God in everyday life—something we call God Sightings.

Get ready to hear that phrase a lot!

Your kids will also participate in a hands-on mission project, through a program called Operation Kid-to-Kid, that will let the kids in our community show God’s love to children in Mali, Africa.

Parents, grandparents, and friends are invited to join us in “First-Class Seating” section each day at 11:40am, because that’s when we’ll be having Fly Away Finale—a daily celebration of God’s love you won’t want to miss.

 So mark these dates on your calendar:June 25th – June 29th .

The fun starts at 9:00am and will end at noon. Call this number 425-450-4912  or www.sacredheart.org to register your children for this life-changing adventure! Or use VBS P.R.O. to register online! The cost is $60.00 per child.  Sign up soon only 15 spaces left for camp. Sign up today!

 Sincerely,

 Your Sky VBS Director

Sacred Heart Parish Mission 2011

Mission Leader: Patty Repikoff, D. Min.

Patty Repikoff

On Pilgrimage into Freedom and New Life

Three days of reflection! Three holy sites! Three enlightening and purifying encounters with the Gospels, with Jesus and holy witnesses!

Quick note here to tell you that I thoroughly enjoyed Patty  Repikoff’s Lenton Mission presentations.  As she was finishing, I thought about her and her words, and this is what came:  She has a knowledge filled ”street-smart”
faith, filled with wisdom and love, a peaceful understanding and a joy in her faith…  with a frosting of fun.  Her love of the Lord emanates and pulls you to want to be better – as opposed to pushing you to be better.

Some of her verbiage:  ”If you believe it, live it!  How is God shouting out to you?  You are called to be God’s light – you beloved, you precious child! You are already alive in God’s light – stop pretending!  God’s presence is within us – live it!  If you believe it – then live it!”  Yes, her words and concepts hit hot buttons and provoked thinking = mission accomplished!
